Private Wedding Chef

Intentional cuisine created to leave your guests in awe.

How it works

Weddings on the Big Island

A dinner, not a production

The dinner is the part of the wedding everyone remembers, so it gets a chef, not a buffet line. Twelve people at a house above the water, both families the night before, or the whole guest list at the venue: I plan the menu with you, prepare it in your kitchen or the venue's, serve it at the table and leave the kitchen clean.

Every couple, every family, every kind of wedding, and keiki at the table are welcome. Larger weddings are welcome too; we plan the scale together. I handle the dinner; your planner, if you have one, handles the day.

Dinners for your wedding

Welcome dinner

The first night, for everyone who just landed. One long table, fish from the Kona boats, greens from the Waimea farms, and the week starts well.

Sauce poured over a row of plates

Rehearsal dinner

The night before, for the two families and the wedding party. At your villa or in the venue's kitchen, plated or passed down the table.

A four-tier cake

The wedding dinner

The dinner after the vows, for twelve or for the whole guest list. A menu planned with the two of you, served while you stay at the table, and a cake to close. Tell me the guest count and the place.

How the table eats

Plated or family-style

A plated first course on a set table

A family table to a full room

Plated

Course by course at the table, for a dozen or for the whole guest list with a team to serve it. The evening where dinner is the centre of the night.

A spread of courses from above

For long tables and big families

Family-style

Platters down a long table and everyone passing. Relaxed, generous, and still plated with care.

Fish from the Kona boats, beef from the upcountry ranches, greens from Waimea and fruit that only grows here, planned ahead with you. Animal-forward, seafood-forward or plant-forward, and every menu can be made vegan or gluten-free, so every guest eats from the same table.

Your wedding dinner, taken care of

From the first menu conversation to the last clean dish.

  1. Before the day

We plan the menu together around the season, your guests and every allergy. You approve it ahead of time, never on the night.

  2. In the kitchen

At your villa or rental, or in the venue's kitchen. I arrive with everything I need and prepare dinner on site.

  3. At the table

Served course by course or passed down the table, so you can stay with your people.

  4. After dinner

Dishes, surfaces and the kitchen reset, whether it is your rental or the venue's. You go to bed married, not washing up.

One chef for the whole weekend

One booking can cover the whole stay: the welcome dinner, the rehearsal, the wedding dinner and a brunch the morning after, with menus that change from night to night and one person who already knows your guests.

Rated 5.0 on Tripadvisor

I never knew raw vegan food could taste this complex, rich, and exciting. The chef creates dishes that feel like fine dining — layers of flavor, beautiful textures… Every bite felt like art.

Tell me your date

Priced per guest, like every private dinner here. Send the date, the place and how many are coming, and I'll reply with sample menus and a quote. No commitment.
